Description: Faith Formation is a lifelong journey. As Catholics, we believe that the seed of faith is planted and nourished in our young people. This is why it is so important those seeds of faith be planted first by the parents. This ministry addresses the faith formation of our children and youth. To help our young deepen their faith with a better understanding of the meaning of what is being taught and experienced through the church and in their lives. Our goal is to bring every child to a closer and fuller relationship with Jesus. Faith Formation sessions for students K through 12 take place on Monday night, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., September through May. Please check with Jenny Mansingh to obtain Faith Formation Calendar.
Sacramental Preparation for receiving the sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation is separate from formal Faith Formation and unique for each Sacrament. Preparation for receiving sacraments calls for special preparation not only for children but for their parents as well. Sacramental Preparation is for all students, including St. Peter Catholic School students, who are preparing to receive sacraments,
You must register your child each year in order for him/her to attend our Faith Formation Program. Please provide a copy of your child’s baptism certificate at the time of enrollment
