Father Gilbert Medina was ordained on June 16, 2007, and served as Pastor of St. Mary of the Lakes in Eustis, Florida, and most recently at All Souls Church in Sanford, Florida prior to becoming Pastor of St. Peter Church on July 1, 2018.  Fr. Medina attests to his parents as the backbone of his vocation.  His parents’ fidelity to the church and their tremendous example of faithfulness were the catalyst for him to embrace the priesthood.  The seventh of 12 children, Fr. Medina studied and worked in Moscow before discerning his call to the priesthood.
