e-Giving

St Peter Church is pleased to announce the introduction of an electronic option for making regular offerings. Contributions can now be debited automatically from your checking or savings account (or processed using your credit or debit card). Our new electronic giving program offers convenience for you and much-needed donation consistency for our congregation.

If you are currently giving on a weekly basis, you will no longer need to write out 52 checks a year or prepare 52 envelopes. And, when travel, illness or other circumstances prevent you from attending services, this program will allow your weekly offerings to continue on an uninterrupted basis.

You can click the button below to set up your eGiving schedule or you may obtain an authorization form and a “Frequently Asked Questions” flyer from the church office.

FAQs on e-Giving

What is e-Giving?: E-Giving is automated giving from either your credit or debit cards or from your bank account each month. If you contribute to St. Peters parish as a good steward, you set aside a percentage of your income for that purpose. Once you determine the amount that you plan to give, you can set up weekly, monthly or semi-monthly deductions. Using E-Giving ensures that you put God first in your giving rather than simply giving what’s left in your wallet when the offertory basket is passed. Online Giving can be used for one-time gifts as well as recurring gifts.

Why should I do e-Giving?: For you, this service is free and saves you having to write a check each week and prepare your envelope for the offertory. This service also covers your contributions when you are out of town or otherwise unable to attend mass.

For the parish, this saves costs in a number of ways. Processing weekly collections requires a significant amount of time on the part of the office staff and volunteers. This also reduces a lot of record keeping for taxes and other purposes since the service provides such reports automatically. E-Giving ensures a consistent cash flow allowing better budgeting and spending procedures. At some point, St. Peters can save the cost of printing and mailing envelopes each month.
