Lay Carmalites

Do you feel that there is something missing in your life? Do you feel that you might like to be closer to Jesus Christ, walk nearer to Him, and be more like Him? Do you feel that there is never the correct time to pray, or even just the time to pray? If you answered YES to any of these questions, then perhaps Carmel and the life of a lay Carmelite is exactly what you are looking for.

Carmel’s call touches that which lies deep in the heart. Although we are not able to put this into words, it changes the way we look at things. A vocation in which we experience a deeper realm through our yes and a want to Live in the Presence of God. Two times a month; first and third Saturday after the 8 AM mass. Generally meet from 9 AM until 11 AM in the church office or Omega room. The meeting consists of one hour of study followed by prayer, novena and Lectio Divina (pondering the word).
