My Sisters and Brothers in Christ: Today, the media reported the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that there is a constitutional right to same-sex marriage under the Fourteenth Amendment.  I am deeply saddened by this ruling. This decision does not change the way Scripture defines marriage, the context of which was born long before the birth of Catholicism.  In Genesis, we read God makes female and male out of love, for love.  The love between a husband and wife is placed in their hearts by God to fulfill His design for each person. ......

Update: Our volunteers have been working hard the past few weeks and all the exterior walls and interior walls are framed up.  All the plywood siding is nailed on the exterior walls.  This past Saturday we set the trusses and began putting up the fascia boards.  This week we’ll begin decking the roof with the plywood and, once again, that means lots of nailing so we need as many people as possible to come on by and pound a few nails.  Once the roof decking, blocking, and bracing are done we can......
